This unique sampling experience is operated in conjunction with the fascinating Bath Botanical Gin Distillery & Herbal Apothecary. This special producer makes gins in small-batches, based on unique in-house recipes
Our informal tasting spas begin by welcoming you with a classic gin and tonic. You’ll hear how our traditional copper still is used to produce the handcrafted drinks you’ll get to taste and we’ll describe how the still works, the intriguing history of gin, and why the drinks you’ll sample are so special. All our drinks are made by the distillery owner who is qualified in Western Herbal Medicine so your samples will include a range of fruit flavoured gins, bitters, and unusual herbal elixirs which can help with various ailments.
This is a fun and intimate event for small groups, which works especially well for those looking for a unique tasting experience. With just 1 to 1 hr 15 mins duration, it’s also an easy way to add an immersive experience to your visit to Bath, and a great way to connect with a unique, independent business.

Private Event Information
GIN SPA
This event is only available to book privately. We do not currently offer regular scheduled events which are bookable for the general public.
Duration : ~1 to 1hr 15 mins
Capacity : min. 2 people, no maximum
Price per person : £180 for up to 6 people, plus £30 per extra person (venue hire fee quoted separately – see below for more details)
Venue Hire
We no longer have our own premises to provide gin tasting events so room hire will always be quoted separately from £200 per event, though we can often hire a space for less with more notice (i.e. ~4-6 months).
Gin Spas at a location which works for you
If you prefer to provide your own event space (e.g. in your home or holiday rental) your venue/room must be available to us privately, for ~30 mins to 1 hour prior to the event for set up, and must have car parking available nearby. Glassware is also required as this is not included in our event provision – 1 glass/cup per person is enough. However, we’ll bring all the samples with us and provide the same service you’d have if we were to provide a venue for your event.

- Minimum price : £180 for up to 6 people (plus £30 per extra person). Discounts available for more than 20 people.
