What is a Tasting Spa
- A chance for you to enjoy samples of unique products with a qualified member of our expert engagement team
- Choose from handcrafted gins, artisan cheeses, or unique, loose-leaf (“orthodox”) teas
- Tasting spas focus on products made locally to Bath, unless you request otherwise, or if we only have the option to source from further afield
- You’ll learn about each product and taste lots of samples throughout the experience
- Opt to host a tasting spa at your own venue (we’ll even come to your home if you wish), or allow us to book a venue for you (starting from £100 in addition to the spa price)
- Package pricing is available based on your needs and requests, or we can provide a price per person based on your expected group size
- All tasting spas are very informal with a relaxed approach allowing everyone a chance to chat and ask questions or simply socialise throughout the event
- We’ll take care of everything from start to finish so you and your guests simply join us to enjoy the experience
Cheese Spa
Our cheese spas are hosted by members of our tour guide and engagement team who are qualified by the Academy of Cheese. They have in-depth knowledge about cheeses from the Bath region, as well as the making process and the wider industry.
Taste a range of cheeses limited only by your budget and learn about cheese pairing and its finer qualities. We’ll include various accompaniments and each cheese will be introduced with details of its provenance as you enjoy tasting it yourself. You’ll even learn how we quantify flavour and get to understand how your taste buds really work, while you taste like a pro! Host a cheese spa at your own venue, or ask us to source a private space where you and your guests can relax while enjoying cheese at its best.

Gin Spa
Gin Spas are operated in conjunction with Bath Botanical Gin Distillery & Herbal Apothecary. All gins you’ll sample are made using artisan methods in this delightful distillery. You’ll find the shop just a stone’s-throw from the centre of Bath and easily walkable from Bath Spa station.
We’ll welcome you with a classic gin & tonic before we chat about gin heritage and how all our drinks are made, using our copper still. You’ll get to sample all our gins, fruit gins, bitters, and herbal elixirs which can relieve a range of ailments. We’ll host your gin spa at our shop or join you at a venue of your choice. If hosting at your venue, we’ll bring everything to provide the same experience you would have at our distillery.

Tea Spa
Open your eyes and taste buds to this special leaf, as you’ve never experienced it before with one of our special Tea Spas.
This hands-on tasting event is produced in conjunction with our friends at Leaf & Buds Tea. Their team have first-hand experience of working with tea from farming and processing, to retail and tastings.
Encounter teas and traditions from around the world alongside tastings of several unblended, loose leaf teas. You’ll also learn to brew beyond our British classics with ‘orthodox’ teas. We’ll also take a closer look at tea’s chemistry, health impacts, and its close relationship with mindfulness.
From history and tradition to flavours and wellbeing, together we’ll redefine what ‘tea’ can mean.
