This unique sampling experience is operated in conjunction with the fascinating Bath Botanical Gin Distillery & Herbal Apothecary. This special producer makes gins in small-batches, based on unique in-house recipes
Our informal tasting spas begin by welcoming you with a classic gin and tonic. You’ll hear how our traditional copper still is used to produce the handcrafted drinks you’ll get to taste and we’ll describe how the still works, the intriguing history of gin, and why the drinks you’ll sample are so special. All our drinks are made by the distillery owner who is qualified in Western Herbal Medicine so your samples will include a range of fruit flavoured gins, bitters, and unusual herbal elixirs which can help with various ailments.
This is a fun and intimate event for small groups, which works especially well for those looking for a unique tasting experience. With just 1 to 1 hr 15 mins duration, it’s also an easy way to add an immersive experience to your visit to Bath, and a great way to connect with a unique, independent business.

This event is only available to book privately. We do not currently offer regular scheduled events which are bookable for the general public.
Duration : ~1 to 1hr 15 mins
Capacity : max. 10 people; for groups of 11+ we can come to your venue, or we can provide a quote for hire of a 3rd-party venue
Price per person : £30 (see below for more details)
Gin Spas at our distillery shop
Events taking place at our shop (which is walking distance from central Bath) are available outside retail opening hours (11-5:30pm Weds-Sat). We can offer an earliest start time of 6:15pm Weds-Sat, or a start time of your choice Sun-Tues.
- Capacity : min. 2 people; max 10 people
- Minimum price : £180 for up to 6 people (plus £30 per each extra person).
Gin Spas at other locations
If you have more than 10 people for your gin spa, we can come to you! Your venue/room must be available to us privately, for ~30 mins to 1 hour prior to the event for set up, and must have car parking available nearby. Alternatively, we can provide a quote for venue hire in central Bath, or a location of your choice. In each case, we’ll bring samples with us and provide the same service you’d have if we were to welcome you at our distillery.
- Capacity : no minimum or maximum
- Minimum price : £330 for up to 11 people (plus £30 per extra person). Discounts available for more than 20 people.
- Alternative venue hire : available with prices starting from £100. Please request a quote when making your enquiry.
